Two futuristic 3d racing games from 98 and 99 and they don't even work well for the target specs (Pentium IIs on a Voodoo2)!!! What gives!!! Did they even test these games?!

I seem to recall having a serious but fixable performance problem with Dethkarz, maybe related to the sound drivers/sound acceleration or compatibility mode setting. Try it with audio disabled and see what happens. This game generally performs extremely well.

I used to play Rollcage with no speed problems, it was great, very fast.

Rollcage is perhaps the only glide game I never, ever had any problems with. Check the drivers; there must be something wrong...
