The other day, I downloaded Millenium, Golden Axe and Syndicate from Home of the Underdogs. Using VDMS (yes, the latest, updated, launcher-ed version), I ended up with the following results.

BTW I'm using a system with a P2-300, 96mb RAM, CL SB16 PCI, disabled on-motherboard Yamaha 'CRAP' (TM) soundcard, and an ATI Rage IIC graphics card.

Millenium was the most promising of the three. The game works, more or less fully, the only problem being that the sound effects seem to not play fully- for example, if one is like, 3 seconds long, only the first second will play, and it will just jump to a halt.

Golden Axe worked, upto the character select screen. The MIDI music worked. I don't think the sound effects worked, although I'm not sure, since the menu screens might not have had any anyway.

With Syndicate, the game/intro seemed to work groovily, but there was no sound at all. From reading other posts on the subject, I'm guessing this is because the Underdogs download doesn't come with any sound. If this is so, can someone give me the URL of a site which I've heard has it, and is called Classic Trash or something? Also, do Underdogs know about the problem?

If anyone could help me out with any of these problems, I'd be grateful. Thanks, guys, and to the dudes who made VDMS in the first place. It kicks some serious butthole.
