I use dosbox 0.72 & 0.73

I want record a replay of my saved playing in doom / doom2

(13 years passed -_-;)

to a *.avi file.

but I got a problem : the dosbox windows appears as WIDE SCREEN.

I have 1600x1200 resluition LCD, so I want play just regular size(640x480)

, not wide...

how can I adjust it?

Thanks in advance.

(sorry for my poor English, that's not my mother tongue;;)

Since your display is already 4:3, all you need to do is set "aspect=true" in the configuration file.

What if you're not using a 4:3 display?

Then you'd need some extra settings to get a display at 4:3 in your 16:10 monitor (specifically: fullresolution=0x0 and output other than surface, preferably ddraw [as that also works when machine=vgaonly or with high-colour video modes])
