hi there 😀
i just installed dosbox for the sake of the good ol' times and now i have a ...uh... don't know if to call it problem but:
in the setup.ini of albion there are mentioned multiple resolutions like this:
MODE_1024x768x16.2M=Y
MODE_800x600x16.2M=Y
MODE_640x480x16.2M=Y
MODE_1024x768x64k=Y
MODE_800x600x64k=Y
MODE_640x480x64k=Y
MODE_1024x768x32k=Y
MODE_800x600x32k=Y
MODE_640x480x32k=Y
MODE_1024x768x256=Y
MODE_800x600x256=Y
MODE_640x480x256=Y
MODE_640x400x256=Y

but the game only starts in 320*240 - is there any way to make it run in higher resolutions? does it even support them(didn't find any information on google due to many other search results 🙁 )?
any help would be very much appreciated 😀

I don't think there is any possibility to change the resolution of Albion. As there were no graphics or sound APIs in DOS, game designers had to use either their own code or libraries such as Miles Soundsystem or Midas to access hardware. So most likely this file you are talking about is an artifact of the gfx library used by BlueByte and has no further meaning.
