WhaaAA? LaunchPad is completely independent of any network.

I trust you, but I even try to re-install it with no connection and to reboot my OS: the .dll file doesn't load.
In fact, got a similiar problem also with quicktime, when appear this error message: "the procedure entry point OpenVxDHandle could not be located in the dynamic library Kernel32.dll". That could be connecetd with the launchpad thing?
Another strange thing is that I got no problem with vdm-sound, that is always active...
There is any check that I can do in my sistem to figure out what is wrong with the launchpad.dll?
I really can't stand what's going on!

This error message about a missing entry point in the kernel is really unusual. Some of the obvious guesses are: you have some sort of device driver loaded that interferes with system calls, maybe some sort of virus or trojan horse, or your path is being changed when you log on to the network and Windows is fooled into looking for the wrong dlls. Just to be sure, have you run a good anti-virus scanner lately, and maybe some trojan/spyware locator?

Here I am...well I finished the Ad-ware scan and also a Norton scan and reboot my system: still the same problem!
What do you suggest?

Very likely one of the DLL's required by LaunchPad.DLL (and/or QuickTime) resides on the network.

Get DEPENDS from http://ntvdm.cjb.net/files/ then, with your network disconnected, drag'n'drop LaunchPad.DLL over DEPENDS.EXE and see what references can not be resolved.

Hmmmm....Hope to have used this tool right.
Anyway, I think all the references seem to be ok: in the "Module Dependency Tree View" there are only "Normal module with no errors" and "Duplicate module with no errors". Also I got same result with connection with network and without it.
Did I use Depends in the wrong way or maybe there is something else to check?
I'm loosing my faith...

If you're getting ANY message about missing links in KERNEL32.DLL it's very likely that your version of Windows is corrupt and you would do good by reinstalling.
