[LINK REMOVED BY MODERATOR] is not illegal dummy!

These are games that have been "abandoned"; EOB series is > 15 years old, which is ancient in PC terms. No one is going to buy any of these games now, and only a few thousand people ever download and play them.

In most cases, the company that produced the games is GONE! Actually, that's should be in almost ALL cases the originating company is defunct

Welcome to a world of pain. Calling a moderator dummy is plain wrong and if you don't know much about legal stuff you shouldn't play with the big boys...

Just because something should be legal according to common sense doesn't just make it so. Common sense and the law are often polar opposites 😜

To address your original post, mrmike1949:

Since you are using an illegal copy I suggest you take your questions to the place you obtained it. Experience tells me, that your problem is not caused by a problem with DOSBox, but with how the copy was made.

The question you need to ask yourself now is this:

Is my time spent in getting this illegal copy to work in DOSBox worth more to me, than the costs of buying a legally licensed copy of the game on eBay, Amazon or some other reputable site?

It is the policy of this forum community that abandonware should not be hosted, linked, nor supported for liability reasons. Regardless of how people may personally feel about abandonware, it's not worth sacrificing the forum over. It is expected that people will be mature enough to understand and respect this.

Locking thread.

Edit: Thanks to Dominus for pointing out that I was too asleep to notice the thread title.
