dear all i'm running windows xp and have a game pro usb and i'm trying to get sensible soccer 97 to sense the usb game pad on my machine any ideas

SWOS has problems with joystick emulation because of DPMI, IIRC.

SWOS doesn't work very well in XP:

At the present time, a dual-boot with Win9x or emulating the Amiga version seem to be the best options. When DosBox gains protected-mode support, it may be an option...
