Sorry if I am redundant.
I used dosbox years ago, with some luck.
But now I have to really get it working.
I have three dos programs working in winxp with geforce2 video board.
I will need to get them working on newer computers.
I want to try and get working programs to work with dosbox.
But I have to admit I need help.
I am trying to use d-fend as well to make it simple.
When I run I get message:
There is no mounted drive that is allowed to reach the physical folder C:\tango\, which is needed to be able to run the program.
D-Fend reloaded will try to interpret the path as a dosbox local path.

Any step by step instructions?

Thanks,
Ray

It would help to know your folder structure and the mounting you used.

As it is I'm guessing you set the the program file but not the drive mounting. In DFR go to Drives. There you need the mount a hard disk using the folder that tango is located in.

Here's a basic tutorial (Not D-Fend, but still easy) (with pictures!). http://classicdosgames.com/tutorials/dosbox.html

Oh, and there's other good freeware DOS games there too.
