ok i dont get it.. i got vdmsound, the update, and launchpad (which i unzipped in vdmsound dir and then ran install.bat).. i'm logged in as admin, i tried relogging on, however i don't have any option for vdmsound anywhere???

someone please tell me i'm missing something simple?

im tryin to run impulse tracker 2.14 under winxp.. i've got ems ram enabled etc.. adn if i run it the way it is now, the sound works but it's all choppy. any ideas? why can't i see the vdmsound option in properties ? (which tab is it in anyway?)

any help would be appreciated!

Well, there aren't supposed to be any new "Properties" for your DOS executables and Batch files. What you should do is "Right-click" on those files and see one (or two) "Run with VDMS" options. Use the one with little musical note the fitrst time and it will startup the program as well as create a .VLP shortcut for future use. The VLP file allows you to tweak the VDMSound setting for just one particular program.

IT...again.

Just insert "Impulse Tracker" into the Quick Search box near the top of the page and hit GO.

You'll see the numerous threads on running IT within XP. Good Luck.

geez man thankx.. i completely missed the option in the right click menu.. man i'm dumb.
