Okay, I trouble shooted all the way to find I needed a soundblaster card to get this working, or a dang emulator. I found VDMsound. I installed it and tried running the game Corridor 7. I got 2 errors. The first was not able to find disk or MSCDEX not installed (which it isn't due to win XP pro), and the second one problem setting up the enviroment ect, 16- bit error.
What do I do?

my specs are:
AMD Athlon xp 2000+
512MB DDR 2100 ram
G4 Ti 4400
Mad Dogs predator 5.1 sound card
Windows XP PRO
16x DVD rom
Samsung 32x10x40 burner
Creative .92V modem
,and I think that's it.

Presuming you are using the GUI Launchpad, did you enable "Low-level CD-ROM support" on your game's VLP shortcut?

If that doesn't work, try placing SAPUCDEX into your Windows System32 directory and enable it in your game's VLP shortcut.

Go to your VLP shortcut, get it's Properties --> DISable "Low-level CD-ROM support" -->Advanced -->"DOS Environment" tab -->type SAPUCDEX into the AUTOEXEC.BAT box -->Click OK -->Click OK.

...and the second one problem setting up the enviroment ect, 16- bit error.

Not sure why this would be. It works fine with the floppy version.

Try other SoundBlaster options within your VLP. IOW, if Soundblaster16 doesn't work, step down to SB-Pro2, etc... down to the basic SoundBlaster.
