Note : Please don't get excited. This is only a prank! ๐Ÿ˜

Here's a Sound Blaster Card currently listed on ebay. Also note under which category this item is listed!!

soundblaster_bloopers1.jpg

Seems like a new card XT4830(XT??) with "power supply".

I guess this must be the latest, most powerful sound card ever produced, probably used by the Jedi Knights' kids?!! ๐Ÿ˜

I just wish that he gets hold of a "useless" LAPC-I or SCC-1 or a RAP-10 card, and let me bid on them! ๐Ÿ˜

Anyway, his feedback is 100%. So I guess he's still trustworthy. ๐Ÿ˜

To protect the identity of the seller, I have wiped out the name of the seller (which is futile anyway, since it's still listed at the time of this writing). This is purely for some light moments and not to make fun of the seller or something. Any co-incidence is regretted. ๐Ÿ˜€

On your keyboard, the letter C is next to the letter X. "XT" could be mistyped for "CT", and as you know "CT" is how Creative identified their hardware.

The cable plug near the main audio chip isn't affixed to it. If you look really carefully, it's just a standard optical drive audio plug, which happens to be close to that chip.

The small white plug is normal. I've got an audio cable that splits off like that in to 2 plugs - one larger black one, and one smaller white one.

So, the only problem here is the phrase "power wire", and the seller ought to replace the word "power" for "audio". (And perhaps change the word "wire" for "cable", but that's optional. ๐Ÿ˜‰ The shipping price of $137.94 to the UK could be amended too! ๐Ÿ˜‰)

Case solved. ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿคฃ

Edit: Hehe, I haven't got a clue why it's listed in the flat panel category. My guess is that he's got other listings in there, and a "cut and paste" operation is to blame for this.

Hehehe! Nicely solved indeed!

I circled the audio cable's 1 - 2 connectors to show that it's exactly,..uh.. that. ๐Ÿ˜€

However, Mr. Holmes, I'm still baffled by the singular incidence by which the seller has meticulously categorized the said strange card in the most obtrusive manner. Perhaps, you may enlighten me on this matter, too Mr. Holmes.

-Sincerely,
Dr. Watson.

Watson! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Unfortunately, I edited my post while you replied to it: regarding the category error, hehe yeah that's an odd one.
