Hello everyone!
First of all I would to say that VDMSound kicks ass!!!

I'm having trouble running some old games such as F117 Nighthawk and DeathRally...

In F117, I use VDMSound's default settings and I choose AdLib sound card in the beginning of the game. The sound is perfect but sometimes the game locks up and after a few seconds it works again... I'm guessing it's a VDMSound-related problem because I've never experienced this lock-up's when using the pc speaker option... I thought this lock-up happened because of my Typematic rating settings, so I went to the BIOS and set everything up to allow a bunch of keystrokes at the same time but I didn't have any success...
So, right now I'm playing with these lock-up's because pc speaker sucks hehehe! Does anyone know what to do in this case?!

In DeathRally the game simply won't run with VDMSound's default settings. I've given up, I love this game but it has a lot of problems with my WINXP. I used to play it on Windows98 without a problem...

I would be really thankful if someone help me figure out this problems!

Thanks in advance,
Peace out, dudes!

I suspect that it's too speed-sensitive. Try running it with DosBox. Just be sure and read the README file that comes with it.

From the main page of VOGONS:

> Death Rally

Or use the "quick search" function and read up on the info from it's entry in the "Problem Children" listing.
