1) If you have LaunchPad installed you can, at the end of the "Right click" process, in the wizard, tell it to create a VDMSound shortcut on the desktop.

2) With or without LaunchPad, as described in the README file ("running VDMSound manually") you can make a .bat file that runs dosdrv.exe (VDMSound) then game.exe (or whatever the game is called). You can also associate your own .pif settings with the .bat file thus created.

Method (1) is the easiest though, unless you on't want to install the beta LaunchPad on your system and you'd rather wait for the offical release (whenever *that* will come).

i dont mean to be difficult, but that wasnt enough information for me to draw up something useful. ill try to be really simple, cuz all i understand of DOS is simple stuff heheheh.. mostly >.< in the shortcut the command line reads

D:\5KENNY~1\QFGII~1\SIERRA.COM

i once got into the bat file or something in Prompt and got some help from a friend, we drew up something like

D:\5KENNY~1\QFGII~1\SIERRA.COM -VDMSound

OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT 😀 im just hoping someone knows the something im thinking of! so i can just click this shortcut and it runs VDMSound with it, if you can right click it and it had the option to VDMSound then you can make it perform the same function in the shortcut, the extra "-VDMSound" or whatever is just the extra "right click, run with VDMSound" ..i just cant remember.. what the extra command is >.< thats all, sorry i wasnt clear the first time

Open up Notepad. Type the following two lines in it:

dosdrv.exe
sierra.com

No go to "File", "Save as", and go to the QFGII directory. Save as "my_sierra.bat" (*with* double-quotes, otherwise the file will become my_sierra.bat.txt and you don't want that .txt there).

Now simply make a shortcut to my_sierra.bat and run it whenever/wherever you want.

*edit* 😀 yah dude that worked but i guess you knew it would. do you suggest any sites where i might catch up on this kinda stuff? i mean that was like the most simplest of things... heheh you guys are so smart 😁 and just to give you something to ponder, the way i did it last time i actually added the extra cmd line like i said on my last post, to the MS-DOS shortcut itself, im curious to know how i did that.. arent you? you guys are great thanks.
