When you tick or untick the "show damage" option inside the controls options, what does it do? I guessed that it would either enable or disable the "combat hit" animation on your party members' avatars. I tried ticking and unticking this option, but I couldn't see what difference it made. I've tried this using the gog.com compilation version and also the M&M Millennium CD compilation version. I've also tried the game unpatched and patched with the 1.7 unofficial patch.

Any Mandate of Heaven fans out there? 😀

I'm a MM6-MoH fan, and from my foggy memory I believe that's the only diff, the avatars looks like they're constipated when they get hit.

Maybe it's like Win98, ya gotta 'reboot' for the changes to take effect 😀
