Tried a different mirror?

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I have in the past tried selecting another mirror manually to no success but decided to give it another try with transact mirror (Australia) and it finally worked 😀)) My woes are finally over.

To the developers of Dosbox, thank you for a fantastic product. Though I do have a real IBM 486, the hard drive is less than happy with it's extended service and is busy going bye bye. Your product has brought me days of joy and a way for my children to see where my gaming life started. Keep up the good work!!

Which of the mirrors does contain the corrupted file?

Unfortunaely, I did not note the names of the mirrors. All I know is that the download started automatically and the resulting file was corrupted. I tried checking now but it automatically downloaded from transact again which I do know works. Is there a way to find what the url was from files already downloaded with firefox? I'll be able to give you the last failed url in that case. Due to bandwidth constraints, I can't try all of them as I will be sitting till tomorrow and also have no more web for the rest of the month 🙁

Usually they detect the region where you're from and choose the mirror accordingly.

I live in South Africa and there were no listed mirrors for my country. It makes it a little tougher i guess.

kind off topic, but why are SF mirrors so unreliable with the 0.73 release? This has not been the only report so far (though the first Mac version one, though)

This happened before the 0.73 release as well, and usually the response
from the sf people is "it works for us" and a few days later it works for
other people as well, so who knows...
