On OS X 10.6.1 we already have to use the development version of SDL 1.2.14 since it contains fixes that make compiling SDL 1.2.x on OS X 10.6 possible in the first place.
Now I discovered that when you run WfW 3.11 with more than 256 colors (in the following case 32k) you will get an heavy yellowish, red tint all over. Curiosly when I make a screenshot, the tint is not there. The tint is also not there when running the release version of 0.73 (which has SDL 1.2.13 static linked in or so).

The problem occured to me with self compiled 0.73 source and CVS.

Just now I'm pulling the absolute latest svn of sdl and will make sure that is still happening and then I'll report to their ML. Please stop me before I do that if that is a Dosbox issue 😀

I'll try 😀
(I was hard pressed to describe this 😀)

Edit: it is almost the same in 16M, EXCEPT that the mouse cursor has blue borders instead of black ones... strange...

So I did extensive testing on this on Mac OS X 10.4, 10.5, and 10.6 on
both Intel and PPC, both ATI and NVidia cards, and everything checked
out.

Now, with the latest release on Mac OS X the red and blue channels
have been swapped, but the screen pixel format reflects this, and you
shouldn't run into any problems unless your application is making an
assumption about the order of the RGB channels.

I also found that the Tomb Raider videos are rendered greenish instead of the correct colors.
