Hi, l apologize if l shouldn't have started a new topic, but l thought this question is a bit different than my last question.
Firstly thanks boyofdestiny and everyone else for your help. Wow l can't believe it l finally managed to get leisure suit larry 1-5 running with that small and efficient program, now l just have to figure out how to run it in fullscreen, but l'll do it myself, there's heaps of info on it on google.
Just one question l have a few old dos games on cd, how would l do the same thing but play them of a cd?
And as l said l can now play larry 1-5, but i'm having problems with larry 6, the message states that it can't run under dos mode, so l did some research, and l found the leisure suit larry 6 (for both the cd and floppy version) installer file, from the sierra help pages website, so l downloaded it and just tried to run it in dosbox via the context menu and the dosbox message told me that it is an illegal command (or something like that). I have a feeling l should have done more, but i'm lost once again, what did l not do right? and just as a guess l think leisure suit larry 6 would be the most difficult to get running whether it be on dosbox or windows, just from reading about it.
So if anyone can help me l'd really like that and thanks again )
Information about my computer are below:
Windows XP service pack 3
Hewlett packard compaq laptop
intel core 2 duo cpu t7250
2.00ghz speed
32-bit operating system
Leisure suit Larry 6 installation problem
I'm using Dosbox version 0.73
If you have any questions feel free to ask
thanks bye
Aaron
p.s. larry 7 shouldn't be a problem to install there's help on google for that, just thought l'd mention it.
