Is it possible to upgrade to DOS 6.0 or greater in DosBox?

I purchased a new computer with Windows 7 on it. I installed DosBox and then attempted to install Star General. When I did so, the installer noted that Star General needs DOS 6.0 or higher but my computer only has DOS 5.0 on it. How do I go about 'upgrading' to DOS 6.0?

Your computer does not have DOS 5.0 on it; your computer has Windows 7 on it!

DOSBox simply reports version 5.0 of DOS by default. I advise you to read the DOSBox readme regarding the VER command.

Thx. Read the Readme and changed the version. I'm running Star General even as I'm typing this!
