The errors appear to be a part of the communications protocol. So if your application works correctly there is nothing to worry about.

There is only one thing, that's courios.
on the terminal there is an old bon printer.
the old pc (win98 the sheet comes out very quick.
on the dosbox the printer is a little bit slower.
it stops on every line for a half second...
can i speed up this?
the printer is not lpt. the printer is connected to the old terminal that is connected with rs232 with the PC.

Try to increase the cycles by pressing ctrl+F12 a few times or set cycles= to a value higher than 3000 in dosbox.conf.

also lower cycles takes no effect.

You can try core=dynamic and cycles=20000 or so.

If that still doesn't show improvements I'm out of ideas.

You can increase it until it takes 90..100% of a core or until the program behaves erratically in speed, whichever happens first.
