Hi,

I solved the problem of the game being unable to access coms 1 and 2. Now I have the problem of the game all ways saying unable to find cd. I have installed the latest version of Vdmsound including the update2 and Launchpad controll. I tried enabling enable low level cd rom support (mscdex) how ever this did not solve my problem. Looking for sugestions as to what I could be doing wrong, using Winxp Home?

Not much of a difference, really.

If you put Settlers into the QuickSearch box near the top of the page, you'll find posts involving Settlers I & II. I've heard of one person who got it working properly, others have had miscellaneous difficulties.
