Hi,
I finally decided to try and get NFS 1 SE running with dosbox.
I read the guides and managed to get the game installed. However when running after typing NFS the DOS4GW shows then just returns to the command prompt.

I have my E drive mounted as C, my H drive(DVD) mounted as D.
I have tried with both sound and movies disabled and recommended install.
Reading other forums and searching here it seems this game should run but with corrupt in-game videos.

Any suggestions?

you could try a different dos4gw.exe
there is also a patch for nfs1 may help / may not 😉
