Hi,

I am a new user of dosbox and think I've got the system right but am still having problems.

I have a load of old games which are on cdrom. I can mount the cdrom drive and get to the directory. I run the install.exe or bat files and the games are put onto my c drive by the programme.

When I change back to c drive in dosbox and attempt to run the programme it falls down as the program on c drive needs access to the cdrom also in order to run.

How do I mount the cdrom drive and c drive at the same time. Or, conversely is it possible to modify one of the bat or exe files on c so that it doesn't seek the cdrom. The size of the contents of the cdrom is the same as the contents installed onto c drive so it looks like all the stuff is there. Think it's a security thing to make sure you have the original disk.

May be talking rot though.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Lyv
