Hello, I have recently put quite a lot of effort into reviving my Xonix game. Having very little relevant knowledge, I've been trying to do this for years and have only just succeded. I'm using DosBox. I have the 1984 Xonix, not the '85 2.2. My question is, does anyone know if that timer in the bottom corner that starts at 90 represent seconds, or something longer? I'm concerned that slowing the game play has also slowed the timer, because it seems to take 10 seconds or maybe more for one "number" to elapse. The last time I played this game I was probably only six years old (at least under 12), and after spending the last two days trying to solve this "problem" it occured to me that maybe it never did represent seconds. I've been playing it a good amount these last two days (talk about satisfying a craving thats 20 years old) and I think maybe if the timer really DID represent 90 seconds, that would be very difficult. I seem to have no trouble killing myself without worrying about timers......
