Ohhh... also forgot to mention that it wouldn't just be as simple as just comparing square and sawtooths from my emulator and my real MT-32. I'm pretty sure they are an exact match ( 😁 ), that's what that waveforms.raw file is doing in the latest release. Where I run into trouble is with the pulse width modulation. If I were to store a file with all the variations of PWM on the square and sawtooths I'd have to include 40MB with everything else. My only other alternative is to try to match the MT-32's PWM algorithm, which is what I do now. Do these match? For the square waves.... yes. For the sawtooth waves? Hell no. Is this detrimental to the sound? Probably... I've already spent a considerable effort to try to get them to match with little success.
