It's a ?AOpen AP43 model.
SiS chipset, same as theSP3. But no VLB here.

Yes, with the original box, though it's nothing to parade about. But it's still a part of history! 😁

I like this type of motherboards which do not have the shared PCI/ISA spec. Most of the times with newer motherboards, I had to compromise either one.

What's with the molex by the CPU socket... does it take a separate power feed to the CPU, or what?

Yes, the molex power connector is for the CPU fan (not for the cpu) connection. Older fans have a simple molex connection. Even one of my P133s has a fixed heatsink-fan which has the molex connection for it's power supply. (The equivalent of the current 3-pin cpu-fan connectors on modern motherboards.)

How thoughtful of the motherboard maker,eh? Some older motherboards have come with these.

Amigaz, I'll test this board with the EDO RAMs and and post it soon.

Yeah, I'm used to having fans with Molexes (because most of the fans I have are old salvaged units), but it just threw me off because I don't normally see the male connector used for power output. Seems to me like that's asking for trouble, being able to plug a live lead from your PSU into that thing. (Maybe that's part of the reason why they don't do it that way anymore... 😵 )

Shouldn't harm the board unless you forget the main power supply connector.

You're right Amigaz, this board doesn't support EDO RAM. Tested with multiple sticks.
