Hiya!

I am looking for a simple audio mix console for my retropcs, for sb/roland use, is there any recommendation? I only need 3-4 inputs and nothing fancy... I have searched eBay and only found some crap 70$ consoles, and many expensive ones...
any recommendations? thanks!

Take a look at some of the old Realistic/Radioshack PA mixers. They're nothing fancy, but they're passable quality and are dirt cheap.

Old Teac/Tascam stuff can be had fairly reasonably, too. A Model 2A 6-channel console would probably fit the bill pretty well.

I really enjoy my midiman multimixer 10. Its perfect for for this sort of thing. I searched ebay and they didn't have any of those but they do have a midiman micromixer 18.

I use this one: http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/MON800.aspx

It has 4 stereo channel inputs that you can select by those small switches (left).

Price is ok, but the chassis is completely made of plastic and also very small (in case you search for something "heavy")

Despite of the only average manufacturing quality (of the chassis - sound is very good) I'm very content with it, those switches are very comfortable, as is the headphone jack on the front.

In any case I recommend (if possible) downloading the manual of the device your're interested in, so you get an overview of the functions it has.
