Hi! I'm trying to install Leisure Suit Larry 6 "talkie" (From LSL Ultimate Pleasure Pack) in DOS. I have Windows XP Professional Edition and I plan to use VDMSound to help run it. But I'm having a problem; I can't install it. I go to DOS, type "D:", then type "install", and then it gives me a list of games to choose from. First of all, the list doesn't contain LSL6 "Talkie", only the original LSL6, and second of all, any choice I make [whether it be LSL6, LSL5, LSL1 (It doesn't matter)] it says "Installation of Softporn- The Text Adventure beginning". It only gives the option to install Softporn. Nothing else. I don't know what's going on. Anybody able to give help?

It's probably a batch file that is trying to use the 'choice' command which is no longer available. Run the installer directly from the LSL6 directory.

This is probably a dumb question, but how do you run the installer from the LSL6 directory? How do you get to the LSL6 directory? I'm not that great with computers.

Maybe he should post it here and a it could be edited into something compatible.

Run the installer directly from the LSL6 directory.

No guarantees that would work. The "Quest for Glory" anthology is the same way. The QFG4 installer wouldn't work, but the batch installer did.

You go to the LSL6 directory and run the SETUP or INSTALL program you find there.

How do you get to the LSL6 directory? I'm not that great with computers.

You might want make yourself familiar with this. Do you know how to use "Windows Explorer"?
