Paul, any idea why Glide2x.ovl is no longer being generated when GliDOS starts on my system? This is probably an OpenGLide issue but since I haven't really got any Windows Glide games to test with at the moment I can't make such assumptions. OpenGLid.INI and OpenGLid.LOG are both generated fine.

Yes, it’s my fault.

No, that's not OpenGLide; definitely a Glidos problem. Does it give an error message saying it can't? Is the Glide2x.ovl present in the Glidos folder. Could your glidos.ini file be pointing to the wrong folder?

It doesn't exist in the GliDOS directory -- it doesn't generate at all. The error I get when I try to run a game is that it can't copy Glide2x.ovl to the game directory (for obvious reasons -- it doesn't exist!)

Yes, it’s my fault.

I can't use the latest OpenGLide with the OVL that comes with GliDOS. And I thought it was supposed to be generated by Glide2x.dll?!

And, thank god for the new owners, heh.

Yes, it’s my fault.

Its not generated from the dll. It does entirely different job.
Why can't you use it with the latest OpenGLide? What happens?

BTW, what is the latest OpenGLide?

Shouldn't be. That particular interface doesn't really change.
