Betrayal in Antara problem with w32scomb.dll

Okay, So, i've got windows 3.11 working in dosbox, i've installed the sound and video drivers. I installed the game Betrayal in Antara and at the end of the installation it automatically installed win32. When I try to run the executable an error message pops up saying "Win32s - Error The procedure entry poinlobalMemoryStatusEx" could not be located in the Dynamic Link Library "w32scomb.dll"." I checked the directory and the file is there so I do not know what is going on, Please help!

Win32s and DOSBox have very strange compatibility issues. It's a 32-bit game though, tried running it natively?

You could also try machine=pentium_slow

I've tried the xp installer but when I try to run the game I get another error saying that it coult not initialize Direct3D.

ahh, it was the compatability setting, man do i feel foolish. THanks guys!
