EDO is not SDRAM actually, it's a different type of memory. (EDO is asynchronous memory as opposed to SDRAM, which is synchronous)
Perhaps instead of SDRAM you ment DIMM, as opposed to SIMM?
If you try to boot with 1 EDO DIMM and 1 SDRAM DIMM, you'll probably get a black screen as these 2 aren't ment to be used together
Keropi, as Svenne said what about try using the original Riva 128 drivers instead of using the patched driver that I asked about ? in Win 3.11
Why use Windows 3.1 instead of Win9x? I ran Windows 95 on a 486DX4-120 with a VLB video card back in the day and it ran great.
win3.11 had problems with FAT32 in my system (or the large HDD I don't know for sure)
I have no intention or need to any kind of windows, I have setup a pci usb card that if needed I load it's drivers and transfer files.
