HI
WIN98,DOOM, DN3D: MPU EMULATION WORKS OK, BUT SOUNDS NO

I TAKE A LOOK TO DEGUB FILE AND FOUND THIS:

@W - 00:47:29.370 - SB Controller
HandleTransfer: DMA updates too infrequent (unable to keep up with
desired transfer rate), requesting boost

WHAT'S ? IS ABOUT DMA TRANSFER MANAGER ? MIN AND MAX PERIOD ?

WHAT ARE THE VALUES FOR SLOWS COMPUTERS ?

Have you tried the native audio in your computer at all? From what little info there is on your PC it sounds as if may not have enough "horsepower" to drive Win98+Duke+VDMSound.

I'm really not sure how much performance can be increased without Chris changing the original VXD code and that is looking less and less likely.
