I used to play iD Software games like Wolfenstein 3D and Doom on a DOS machine, and on DOSBox on my Dell Dimension 3000. Since dell is broken and DOS Hard drive is now borked, I decided to play using DOSBox on my Acer Netbook. Everything runs 100 percent like it should! Except, when I set the PC Speaker on, my PC doesn't beep, the PC Speaker sounds come out of my external headphone speakers. It sounds ugly and I want my netbook to beep like it does on the BIOs before windows loads up. Any suggestions?

I hate to argue but I don't understand how it's not, because like I said, my Dell was able to do it...

Huh... That's weird, I swear that I remember my Dell doing it... Well if it was possible, that would be amazing! Sorry for all the trouble! 😅

in fact MOST notebooks will route "soundcard sound" and "PC Speaker sound" to the same internal speakers, when nothing external is connected. So you can just unplug headphones, external speakers, etc. to get what you want.
