Quick question: Why aren't you able to mount C:?

I have a program that resides in C:\RT, and references folders C:\2009, C:\2010, and C:\ASC. Everything would be all well and good if I could "MOUNT C C:\" but I cannot. What is the reason for this, and is it possible to get around?

I'm aware I could just move all of the folders to a subdirectory, but this is my boss's filing system and I don't want to mess it up too bad for him.

Thanks.

Oh I hadn't realised that it was actually mounting it, the red warning text threw me off. Why is it not recommended?

Oh, well that is interesting. I thank you for your help.

Alright last thing: Is it possible to exclude directories then? Like "MOUNT C C:\ -windows" or something?
