Silent Loon, 5u3, and other fellow Voodoo connoisseurs would probably brand me heretic 😁 , but I think I will, eventually, inevitably, use GLide wrapper. The wrapper is for my MSI Wind netbook, which has Intel GMA graphic chip. I don't plan to play 'serious' 3dfx games like Total Air War or Deus EX on the ultraportable; just 'lite' ones like Shipwreckers!.

Nonetheless, there is a lot of GLide wrappers out there. Zeckensack's GLide wrapper seems to be the most popular here, but is my shitty Intel graphic chip up to it? Aren't GLide wrappers quite 'chip-sensitive'? (ie there are wrappers that best running on Radeons, and there are wrappers that best running on GeForces, such thing.) I've never used wrappers before, any suggestions?

Not all game work with just one wrapper. You'll need to use multiple ones.

I primarily use DGVoodoo and Zeckensack glide wrappers.

Also NGlide is a new wrapper that's doing pretty good.

and there's always OpenGlide.

I see. Will try those you've mentioned, then. Thanks, DF.
