I have a couple questions:
1) I need to be able to access com ports inside of dosbox for some older programs that I need to run. Can my USB dongle(s) be forwarded to the DosBox program in some manor? My system is Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit on an Intel i7 laptop.

2) In the end, would it just be better to set up a virtual machine for dos like I have now for my Windows XP to run some programs that do not run under Win 7?

1) Look at the serial port section in the DOSBox config file
2) Whichever works best for you
