I was using google today, and typed in my search as usual. But what was unusual, is that the results appeared immediately! It's very useful. You can adjust your search in real time, and the search results instantly adjust accordingly.

Not long. But with this new type of search engine, you can see the results list change as you type each character. I think that's useful.

It took me about 30 seconds before I turned that "feature" off. Yeah, it's interesting that it displays results as you type, but the problem is that it displays results as you type. It sucks at guessing what I'm trying to search for, and the constant flickering of the page refreshes is quite distracting, in addition to sucking up bandwidth needlessly.

I much prefer to type what I want, press enter, and get results. It's always been done that way, and there's a reason for that: it works. Suddenly changing things around just for the sake of change pisses me off.

Well, you know software engineers, they love to change things. :P

I was kinda annoyed when Blip.tv, the service I've been uploading all my ADG episodes to, updated their player for some mysterious reason. The new player, at the time it went online, was full of issues, and now that they've worked those issues out it is almost exactly like the old player, except it NO LONGER WORKS IN WINDOWS 98. D:

...OK, I'm probably the only person on the planet who noticed or cares... but still! >_>;

Gemini000, I see you've uploaded a review of Dark Forces to your ADG website. The self damaging weapons are a bit of a nuisance, especially the concussion rifle. I like the Bryar pistol though, because of its accuracy. Regarding fist fighting, if you set the game's difficulty level to Hard, and then get to Jabba the Hutt's ship, you're in for some fun! I vaguely recall you've got to fight 5 Kell dragons before you get your weapons back. One of the things that differentiates DF with Doom is the interesting mission based structure. Also, the cut scenes are well made. I think the lack of in-level saving makes some of the levels seem large.

I've just thought of a popular old DOS game for you to review. How about Dune II, the battle for Arrakis?

I've always liked google's search engine. Instant results. Almost impossible to believe that it's so fast.
