hey there

i had version 0.73 of dosbox and was nostalgically playing theme hospital with only a few minor in game problems (ie doors disappearing 🤣)

i hadnt played it for a a few months, when i came to play it today i downloaded the new version but when i came to play the game there was no sound. i have looked into the sound options on the wiki site and on here but i dont seem to be able to find a reason or a solution.

also all my previous saved games have vanished 🙁

please can someone help me i dont mind starting over but the game isnt as much fun without sound 🙁

Have you looked in the sound options from Theme Hospital? Make sure your IRQs match...

the only options ive found for sound on theme hospital are all set to max sound but nothing 🙁

Can you get it to work again in 0.73?
Have you tried creating a fresh install in 0.74?

I'm pretty sure it has an external setup program, like install.exe, setup.exe or something of the sort, check there.

ty rcblanke and bloodbat it worked it hadnt selected any sound 😀 anyone know about gettin my levels? have i lost them when i reinstalled dosbox? or are they somewhere in the theme hospital files?
