I try to upload a file (retro relevant Doom music for a Vogons discussion) to MediaFire, and I get the error below. I cannot see a community forum on MediaFire, so I can't share my comments with other users. I have submitted a help ticket, but I have yet to receive a response. I have tried 2 browsers, I have updated my Java stuff, I have set MediaFire settings to Use Flash and also Do not use Flash. I have also cleared out all of my cookies. I have also waited a day to see if that helped.

If someone else has a MediaFire account, can you please simply upload a "hello world .txt" file to your account, to see if it works OK? Thanks a lot if possible.

Edit: Solved. Thanks to Keropi, I have created a multiupload.com account, and I can now upload my file to the net! 😀

not really a solution but nowdays when I want to upload stuff to share I use multiupload.com . it seems silly not to use it as you upload to it and it spreads your uploads to several servers like rapidshare, megaupload, mediafire, etc 😁
give it a shot rg100!

Their tech support team emailed me back, and said "try it again", and I did and it worked. 😀
I'm using multiupload at the moment, and it seems really good. In the future, I might use both multiupload and mediafire.
