I can remember just little details about this game.
I couldn't find it using Mobygames' Game Browser
Gameboy Color or Gameboy Advance.
2D vertical (left and right) scrolling fighting game, not cartoonish, with some horror appeal.
The title was prolly Japanese
I can't remember the purpose of the game.
Some bad dudes or all of them were supernatural like ghosts.
It was colorful, let's say like Final Fight One
I know it's not much but any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Nope. The main character looked somewhat like Guy from Final Fight and Ken from Street Fighter

Yes! Gekido Advance! Thank you very much and I have to admit it wasn't easy with the few clues I could remember.
Kisses

I'm a fan of 2-D beat-em-ups. Though I do have Gameboy Advance, I tend to play it only in my PSP using the gPSP emulator (mainly because of PSP's save feature to the memory card, instead of relying on the GBA's volatile battery dependent saving).

And I really like this game!
Enjoy!

I prefer playing them on a bigger screen. Sigh, if there was a way to play some phone games on a TV...

There's a Gameboy Advance emulator called VisualBoyAdvance for PC. If the PC is hooked to a large LCD tv or monitor, you can get huge pictures!

Oh you can do that with a Wii. I was talking about J2ME games.

I like beat-em-up arcade games, but the only ones that ever really got my attention were the originals - Renegade ("Get lost, punk!"), Double Dragon and Ninja Gaiden.

I liked Aliens versus Predator too, but like most modern beat-em-ups it's really just another clone of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game.

Natsume/Jaleco made a couple of cool NES beat-em-ups, but I never discovered those until I started using emulators in the mid-to-late 90s.

Streets Of Rage was what i played since we had a Sega CDX as kids. I found out there is a remake of it ti's pretty sweet. they also found some cool cut content hidden on the cartridge, parts of a cut scene i think.

Oh yeah! Streets of Rage! It's a classic. I really like the first one. And from Sega Genesis, amongst some others, I really like Golden Axe III. Many prefer the second and the first, but I'm hooked more with III.
