Hmm odd...
One thing you could try is use the SCC1 but also hook up the SC-55 into the SCC! (so they play together) and observe if just the SC-55 or both drop the drums...
It surely is a very odd thing and I have never come across anything like that...
It's not like the drums goes off forever, it fixes soon as a new track starts to play, and sometimes when I'm playing the music sounds ok on the 1st round, but it fails to start the drums at the next round or when the music speeds up, the fight ends then you go to a new stage and the music is ok, it's all random..
