if i Alt-Tab from a Dos-game to my Win2k and then back to the game my Monitor shows a "out of sync" error which means the refreshrate is to high. How can i fix this ?
System:
XP1800 on SIS735 (K7S5A)
Radeon 9700 (tried different drivers)
Win2k (SP3)

You'll probably need a fellow Radeon 9700 user for a real answer, but just to let you know: avoid Alt-Tabbing out of your DOS programs as much as possible. It wreaks havoc with timing in general.
In Win2K I found that Alt+Tabbing out of DOS programs that were using VESA completely killed my system, and I had to do a cold reboot. In XP, however, it works fine. *shruggeroo* Just a random thought.
Yes, it’s my fault.
This happens with all Games/Apps that use VGA or EGA(320x200x256 or something). If i Alt-Tab out of an Vesa-game, my Display gets screwed up, but that's not important to me.
