At my house, I was going through a box that was labeled "floppie drives" but it turned out it had cd drives and at the bottom of a stack of 8X cd drives I found in a plain box an sb16 inside it!
Also I have a question, I finally got sick of win98 so I went back to dos6.2 and I'm wondering where I can acquire a driver that is dos compatible.
If your SoundBlaster 16 is one of the Vibra models, I can provide you with the DOS drivers for it. Actually, what' the model number of SoundBlaster 16 you found(the model number is labeled CTxxxx)?

It seems to be a questionable SoundBlaster 16(FYI - CT2520-SDQ is the chip's model number, not the sound card's model number. The sound card's model number is written in white on the actual PCB). Could you take a picture of your SoundBlaster 16?

I have the official Sound Blaster 16 MS-DOS driver floppy disks in case you're still interested. I could rip them.
