I just recently installed VDM on my machine in the hope that it would fix my sound problems in the Lucasart game "Full Throttle". However, when I run the game, the sound sounds as if it is speeding up in some parts and also a little degraded. Was just wondering if anyone knew how to fix this problem.
You should search for the game on this forum, and/or look at ~vladr/compat/ since I know for sure that after a small configuration adjustment in VDMSound (buffering or DMA period, I forget) FT will work fine.

Set DMA Polling to 1 min 2 max. That fixed it for me.

From memory...(I'm away from my home PC). Right-click on the VDMSound shortcut (.VLP) created for the game the first time you ran it --> choose Properties, click the Advanced button --> click on the Performance tab.
