Hi there, sorry for my english, im not american.
I have ubuntu 10.10 and dosbox 0.73
im trying to acces a program (.bat) that uses a .DBF file for database, so i got this error:

ERROR DBFNTX/1001 open error: temp031.dbf (DOS ERROR 4)

I googled it and it says that in windows the problems is relationed with the number of files in
c:\WINDOWS\system32\CONFIG.NT

Fichero Config.NT:
FILES=100
Fichero Autoexec.NT:
SET CLIPPER=F100

where i can configure that on linux?

DOS Error 4 is indeed too many files.
However DOSBox has
FILES=127 internally

To get the second line
type

SET CLIPPER=F100

in dosbox before starting your .bat file

Water flows down the stream
How to ask questions the smart way!
