Are there any system info utilities that would work on 386/486 machines? Like cpu-z, something that tells you what the cpu is, bus speed etc?

Ultimate Boot CD has various such utilities. Highlight is the Intel CPU ID tool, which works really well and tells you if the CPU is not running at the rated speed (very handy when you have a ton of jumpers).
