My computer is a 386DX40 with the above card.

I follow the instructions from the manual which state, install dos driver for poweride software, this appears to load a driver which enables 32bit access in dos

For windows 95, I uninstall standard/eide driver, install the Future Domain Enhanced driver, change the resources to suit.

e.g

I have a a hard disk and cd-rom on ide a & b

When the machine boots up I note the following Port 170 IRQ 15 & Port 160 IRQ 10

Inside windows 95, I install two device drivers one for each cd-rom & hard disk and allocate the correct resources.

When I boot the machine for windows I get a "WIndows Protection Error" or the machine freezes, when I get inside windows I get the "c: is running in ms-dos compatibility mode" crap, or I uninstall the drivers in safe mode and windows appears to work fine, just wondering If their is any point in getting a 32bit driver working in windows 95?? or any suggestions??
