It's not hard to figure out.
If uploading files to VOGONS wouldn't crash all the time, I could put them here...
Follow the navigation. It goes like Sound Blaster > Others > Archive > SB16 > Select DOS and Drivers > Dowload CTCM and SBBASIC
For me that link goes to a page with "AGREE" at the bottom, you click it to download the CTCMBBS.EXE package which contains CTCU and CTCM to let you configure the resources of your PnP card.

Yea it's how Creative wrote the site. If you close the browser and try the link you get to the support main page.
But still, it's not hard to figure out the navigation 😁
I figured it out, thanks.
Well, I thought I did. I have an autoexec and config.sys setup for sb16 pci but I still need the actual driver.
Okay, I found out that maybye I need sbinit, where do I get that?
ok, this is getting difficult to help you
first tell us EXACTLY the model # of card you have (it is printed on the card.... with a number CT####)
then copy and paste the config.sys and autoexec.bat here
I'm sure you agree, but at this point I think your issues are "operator error"... something is b0rked with your setup and you don't know how to explain it well and can't fix it yourself
please provide that information so we can quickly get this over with 😀

You have a PCI Sound Blaster????
Thanks for letting us know 🤣
Throw it out and source an ISA Sound Blaster 16. For DOS you don't want anything to do with PCI.
Okay, the model number is 2940
I cleared the autoexec file because it got corrupted from all the dos drivers I was trying (It was originally empty before I sterted the driver hunt.)
CT2940 is ISA, NOT PCI 🙄
there's no reason for it to be that difficult to get it running
you still copy and paste the files here after you reinstall the drivers
2940 is an ISA card. Why do you talk about a SB16 PCI?
Forget the AUTOEXEC and CONFIG for a while.
Reboot into MS DOS mode, run CTCM and then run AWEUTIL/S and tell us if the driver loads and if you can play games.
............. 🙄 😵 Okay, um then either I just made the stupidest misjudgment or it's a weird card.
Well, I'm going to get the drivers from the vogons post about sb 16 isa cards and then work on getting ms-dos cd rom support.

so aweutil /s even works for a non-AWE card such as the SB16? that's news to me! 😀
Yeah, worked for me.

Yea my bad 🤣
Well, I copied the sb16 isa install files to the three install disks and when I run diskette 1 it says please insert install into drive b: (My diskette drive is a) so I change it to b: and started it again and it now says "insert diskette into drive a:" so I don't know what's up. Oh, also when I run it from windows it says the "cannot run from windows 95"
