But do you mean you actually painted the case?
And about the missing front panel thingy, those things tend to not fit in a case they weren't removed from -_-
So I have a pile of those front panel thingies and no case to put them in.
I either use duct tape or something or just put an extra (slow/dead but nice looking) cdrom drive in it to fill up the gap and simply not plug any of it's cables in 😁
If I do this, it's always the older drive that's not connected so I can figure out almost instantly which one is not connected.
I'd rather stare at a non-working cdrom drive then a large hole in the front 😜
Now what are the chances of me finding a SATA CD-RW/DVD combo with a white bezel? And yes, it was sprayed 😁

Apparently they are being sold here and there, but black bezel is like >95% of all the ones being offered for sale.
