Hello guys, I have a Roland SC-7 connected to my PC using a typical USBtoMidi cable. It worked fine under Windows 7, however I can't figure out how to use it in Ubuntu 10.10.
Basically I'm stuck with the softsynth provided by Ubuntu. I want to use my Roland to listen to midi music and play DOS games on DOSBox and ScummVM. I heard that you have to use a program called JACK to manage the Audio In/Outs, but I have no clue how that works. Is there any tutorial or anyone in here who has tried something similar?
