I've downloaded Daggerfall from Bethesda's website and installed it per their instructions on my MacBook Pro. The game starts up fine, until I select a race to play as, when the game exits and says "Daggerfall has encountered an internal error at 0. The error reported was: Code: 211 not found in"

I found another thread here detailing the same problem, but for someone as computer illiterate as me, the solution presented there went over my head. I'd much appreciate some help.

You probably used different mountings when installing and running the game. Without knowing which mountings are you using and the contents of z.cfg from Daggerfall directory I can only guess.

The different mountings thing might explain it, as I did change the folders after installing. In any case, I'm going to give the DBGL a shot. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

After installing a game within DOSBox, don't do this.

Well, I tried the DBGL, and it works fine now, in-game bugs notwithstanding.

This also happens if the paths in Z.CFG don't match up with the actual ARENA2 folder locations within DOSBOX, so anyone else with this problem should look in there.
